Drawing on memories of my childhood home, this work is an experiment to physically harness the psychological weight of spatial anxiety. Recalling constantly changing wall colours—rooms that were never just a fresh lick of paint, but saturated spaces that smothered whatever colour came before—I imagined these accumulated coats undergoing a gravitational breakdown. It captures years of domestic history collapsing under its own weight, echoing the lifecycle of a dying star poised between a luminous explosion and a light-consuming void.
